Angels eliminated from postseason after walk-off loss to White Sox

It will be another year without postseason baseball for the Los Angeles Angels after they were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs thanks to Chicago White Sox outfielder Nicky Delmonico's walk-off home run in the 10th inning.

The Angels have now failed to make the postseason in three consecutive seasons. They last appeared in the playoffs in 2014 when they were swept in three games in the American League Division Series by the Kansas City Royals.
