Move over Wednesday, Friday is the new Hump Day.

Veteran big man Kris Humphries reportedly agreed to join the Philadelphia 76ers on a non-guaranteed contract, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.

Humphries played with the Atlanta Hawks for the past season-and-a-half, averaging 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 12.8 minutes. He's exactly the sort of low-stakes, high-character veteran the Sixers have sought out this summer to help shepherd their flock of young, blue-chip talents.

At his peak, Humphries averaged 11.7 points and 10.7 rebounds from 2010-12 with the final iterations of the New Jersey Nets. At 31 years old, however, it may take a training camp injury for Humphries to stick on the Sixers' roster.
