Jamaica goalkeeper Andre Blake could muster only 20 minutes of action in the Gold Cup final against the United States as the Philadelphia Union shot-stopper suffered a serious right-hand injury after being kicked by Kellyn Acosta after deflecting a Jozy Altidore shot.

Blake looked to be in serious pain as his hand bled, having torn the webbing between his index and middle finger. He was immediately attended to by doctors who wrapped up the wound, though it is unclear if the 26-year-old suffered a fracture.

He did walk off on his own, though, and was replaced by Dwayne Miller, but it was an unfitting end for a player pipped by many to be the tournament's MVP.
