Report: Swansea's Clement eyeing ambitious Wilshere bid
Swansea City manager Paul Clement is reportedly prepared to make Arsenal an offer it can't refuse for out-of-favour midfielder Jack Wilshere.
With one year left on his current deal at Arsenal following a season-long loan with Bournemouth, the injury-riddled England international appears surplus to requirements at the Emirates, piquing Swansea's interest, according to the Telegraph's Matt Law.
Sampdoria, West Ham, and Newcastle are all reportedly in for the 25-year-old, though it's the Swans who hope to secure a move by besting the trio of suitors with a bid in the neighbourhood of Arsenal's £20-million valuation.

Should Wilshere fancy following best friend Wojciech Szczesny to Italy's top flight, Sampdoria will have to improve upon a reported initial bid of £6 million for the Stevenage-born runner's services.
Swansea doesn't appear interested in playing Sampdoria's tactic of testing the transfer waters, and with Gylfi Sigurdsson allegedly close to an Everton switch, Wilshere would help fill a central-midfield hole left vacant by the Iceland international's exit.

Wilshere is understood to be most interested in a move to West Ham, though Law added that the Irons fancy a loan move while Arsenal prefers a permanent sale for the player who joined the north London side's academy as a 9-year-old in 2001.
