Leicester City will welcome Eldin Jakupovic to its pre-season camp in Hong Kong this week after the Foxes brokered his arrival from Hull City on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper signed a three-year contract with Leicester. Neither club disclosed the fee.

Blessed with superb athleticism and accused of sometimes adding an extra flourish to his saves, Jakupovic will offer competition to the Foxes' undisputed No. 1 for the past six seasons, Kasper Schmeichel.

"I'm very happy and excited that the deal is finally done. I'm very excited to be a part of something special here and I can't wait for the first game," the Bosnian-born Swiss international said at his unveiling.

"I knew from the beginning that it will be difficult for myself because Kasper is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

"I'm going to fight and I'm here to push. A healthy competition is always good and that's only a positive thing. For sure, I'll wait for my chance but I am here and I'm very excited."

Jakupovic is the second signing from Hull in the summer window by Leicester, after defender Harry Maguire swapped Humberside for the East Midlands for around £17 million in mid-June.

Leicester returns from East Asia to play five friendlies on home soil, and then kicks off the 2017-18 campaign with a trip to Arsenal in the Premier League's Aug. 11 curtain-raiser.
