Burnley nabbed Jack Cork from Swansea City on Tuesday on a four-year contract.

Cork, who spent around 18 months on loan at Turf Moor between 2010 and 2011, returns for a fee that The Daily Mail's Jack Gaughan reports is worth an initial £8 million, but could rise to £10 million after add-ons.

In fitting with the overblown transfer announcements from other clubs this summer, Burnley announced the switch by releasing a video of Cork linking up with the side's pre-season jaunt in Ireland:

"It's great to be back. I've got some great memories from the year-and-a half I was here and it's good to come back and see some old faces," the Chelsea academy graduate said.

"It's good to come back and try and have another go here, especially in the Premier League.

"I've heard lot has changed, the whole setup has changed, and the playing staff is completely different to when I was here."

Cork, 28, follows ex-Leeds United full-back Charlie Taylor and Jonathan Walters (who left Stoke City for a potential £3 million) to the Clarets this summer. Manager Sean Dyche is trying to build on last season's strong home record, which culminated in a 16th-placed finish, but will do so without Everton's £30-million new boy Michael Keane and the released George Boyd, now of Sheffield Wednesday.

Burnley begins the 2017-18 season with a tricky trip to Premier League champion Chelsea on Aug. 12.
