Lukaku arrested, issued citation for 'out of control' Beverly Hills party
Soon-to-be Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku was arrested in Beverly Hills on July 2 for disturbing the peace after police came to his rental mansion at least six times to inform him of multiple noise complaints about his "out of control" day party, reports TMZ Sports.
The Everton striker is set to close a deal with the Red Devils and celebrated his massive, record-breaking £75-million move in Los Angeles by getting a little too loud for his neighbors' liking.
The Associated Press reports that police confirmed Lukaku was arrested but was not handcuffed or booked for the excessive-noise misdemeanor. The 24-year-old is now set to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court on Oct. 2.
TMZ reports he was issued a fine after Beverly Hills police received multiple noise complaints and issued several warnings.
New teammate and friend Paul Pogba posted pictures of himself and Lukaku in L.A. this week as well, but it is unknown if Pogba was at the scene during the Belgium international's rager.
