Burnley signed Charlie Taylor on a four-year contract on Thursday after the left-back turned down Leeds United's offer of a new deal at Elland Road.

The 23-year-old has been long coveted by Premier League clubs, and will cost the Clarets a compensation fee yet to be determined due to the Yorkshire lad being developed at Leeds.

A series of loan spells helped Taylor acclimatise to professional football - the most beneficial of which was under ex-Burnley man Graham Alexander's wing at Fleetwood Town - before he became a regular fixture for Leeds in the 2014-15 campaign.

He won the club's Player of the Year award for the 2015-16 season, and claimed three assists in 29 appearances last term as Leeds narrowly missed out on the Championship's play-off places.
