Report: Mr. Met to return Thursday with new employee in costume

After New York Mets mascot Mr. Met was recorded flipping the bird to a fan after Wednesday's 7-1 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers, the team will move forward with a different employee manning the costume Thursday, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.

The video blew up on social media, resulting in an apology from the Mets. It was later announced that the employee in question wouldn't appear as Mr. Met again.
