Here are theScore's sample Squad Up lineups for the 12-game early slate beginning at 7:05 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 2:

Washington Weekly

POS NAME OPP FPPG SALARY
P Justin Verlander (DET) vs. CLE 11.2 55K
C Jose Lobaton (WAS) vs. ARI 4.2 37K
2B Daniel Murphy (WAS) vs. ARI 15.0 56K
1B Ryan Zimmerman (WAS) vs. ARI 19.3 48K
OF Bryce Harper (WAS) vs. ARI 19.8 62K

The Nationals have scored 83 runs with a 1.026 OPS over their past seven games. It's mostly because of the 23 runs they dropped on the Mets, Sunday. With the run they are on, exposure to the Washington lineup is a must. Verlander is much cheaper than a former Cy Young winner should be.

Just one Bronx Bomber

POS NAME OPP FPPG SALARY
P Masahiro Tanaka (NYY) vs. TOR 10.6 72K
C Evan Gattis (HOU) vs. TEX 10.5 49K
2B Rougned Odor (TEX) at HOU 7.7 48K
1B Freddie Freeman (ATL) vs. NYM 18.1 61K
OF Aaron Judge (NYY) vs. TOR 17.1 44K

Tanaka's matchup and price are a perfect combination. The Blue Jays' offense is without 3B Josh Donaldson and SS Troy Tulowitzki and continues to strikeout at a heavy clip. Gattis will likely draw into the lineup against Texas LHP Cole Hamels. Odor draws Houston SP Mike Fiers, who has served up seven bombs over his past three starts.
