Report: Lacy's deal with Seahawks contains weight clauses, other incentives

Eddie Lacy's contract with his new team, the Seattle Seahawks, contains clauses regarding his weight, as well as per-game roster bonuses and production incentives, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports.

The running back signed a one-year contract worth a reported $5.5 million with $3 million guaranteed, so he presumably can earn the extra $2.5 million by staying in shape and hitting certain statistical goals.

Lacy's fought weight issues throughout his four-year career with the Green Bay Packers, and reportedly weighed in at 267 pounds during one of his free-agent visits this offseason.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll downplayed the issue, saying "I want him big."
