Report: Lacy weighed in at 267 lbs during a free-agent visit

As Eddie Lacy gets a fresh start in Seattle, the longstanding weight concerns appear set to follow.

The veteran running back, who signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks on Tuesday, weighed in at 267 pounds during one of his free-agent visits, according to Bob McGinn of The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Lacy's weight was a well-documented issue for the majority of the four seasons spent with the Green Bay Packers to open his career. Being so far away from the previously listed range of 230-235 pounds during his opportunity to test the free-agent market will only see those questions intensify.

To be fair, though, Lacy is still months away from stepping on the field for training camp and the ankle surgery that ended his 2016 season would have made any sort of regular conditioning difficult.

His "official" weight was likely fairly generous to begin with, too. Despite being thought to have played last season at over 250 pounds, Lacy was able to post a career-high 5.1 yards per carry before going down with the injury.

The 26-year-old will have plenty of time to get back into a workable weight range and potentially recapture that form.

Lacy will be expected to compete for regular snaps alongside Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise, providing a power-run complement to the pair of dynamic, young backs.
