Here are the fantasy repercussions following the news that the Jacksonville Jaguars will likely be missing multiple pieces to their offense this week:

Based on Hurns' absence, it would be reasonable to expect big performances from WRs Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee, but that may not be the case with a matchup against the Denver Broncos. Pro Football Focus' top two rated corners this season are Denver's Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.

Talib has the length (6-foot-2) to match up with big receivers like Robinson. Lee, who does most of his damage from the slot, will be blanketed by Harris, who spends most of his time lined up as the nickel corner.

Don't start either of these WRs this week if you have other options. Robinson's best game this year came against Houston's stingy pass defense, but it's unlikely he will replicate that 9-107-1 performance from Week 10.

If you planned on starting Blake Bortles in any 2QB or Super FLEX leagues, don't. Denver has allowed the fewest passing yards, the lowest passer rating against and they lead the NFL in sacks. Bortles' elongated throwing motion will be exposed by Denver's pass rush.

With that being said, pay up for the Broncos defense in daily fantasy this week. It wouldn't be surprising if they finished with three or more interceptions and five-plus sacks. A shutout is not beyond the realm of possibility.

The lone player who might be worth a look in fantasy circles is RB Denard Robinson. The former QB at the University of Michigan carried the ball 13 times last week when Ivory went down, compared to T.J. Yeldon's six carries. Despite Denver's defensive prowess through the air, they have allowed the sixth-most rushing yards in the NFL, providing some optimism for Robinson.

Waiver-Wire Targets

Those seeking replacements for Ivory and Hurns should consider the following players (ownership courtesy of FantasyPros):

  • RB Kenneth Dixon (45.4%), Ravens (vs. Dolphins): Dixon toted the rock 13 times for 49 yards last week. He could be in line for more carries considering Terrance West hasn't exactly set the world on fire over the past five weeks (2.8 yards per attempt).
  • RB Wendell Smallwood (39.5%), Eagles (at Bengals): Ryan Mathews has once again been ruled out, so expect Smallwood to see carries on first and second down before conceding work to Darren Sproles in obvious passing situations.
  • WR Chris Hogan (16.9%), Patriots (vs. Rams): If you were still starting Hurns, your team likely won't be heading to the playoffs. I wouldn't start Hogan over Robinson, but he has more upside than Lee. He caught four passes for 70 yards last week and could see more looks with Rob Gronkowski out and Martellus Bennett banged up.
  • WR Ted Ginn Jr. (17%), Panthers (at Seahawks): Taking a chance on Ginn this week is an all-or-nothing move. He's capable of hitting a home run, but it's tough to imagine him doing so against Seattle's secondary. Yet, in the words of Lloyd Christmas, "you're telling me there's a chance?"
