Oklahoma State is adding to its collection of quarterbacks, with Coleman Key announcing his transfer to the Pokes from Colorado State on Thursday.
Key, who was a redshirt freshman in 2015, served as the Rams' backup quarterback and threw for 251 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions, while completing 21-of-44 pass attempts.
Oklahoma State appears set at the quarterback position for at least one more year, as Mason Rudolph is heading into his junior campaign.
It's possible Key could become Rudolph's successor, but he'll first need to sit out a year upon officially completing the transfer. The former three-star recruit will have two seasons of eligibility once he's reinstated.
