Clemson's Shaq Lawson to start national championship

Despite battling an MCL sprain, Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson will start Monday's national championship against Alabama, head coach Dabo Swinney announced pregame.
Lawson suffered the injury against Oklahoma, and his status had been questionable since.
Even if he isn't 100 percent healthy, his presence in the lineup is a huge boost for the Tigers' defense. Lawson led the country in tackles for loss with 22.5, and also registered 55 total tackles and 10.5 sacks in 2015.
