Report: Bowling Green's Babers top candidate for Syracuse job after Ash withdraws

Ohio State defensive coordinator Chris Ash has removed his name as a candidate for the Syracuse head coaching position, according to Dan Wolken of USA TODAY.
The Orange were reportedly deciding between Ash and Bowling Green head coach Dino Babers to replace Scott Shafer.
Unless another candidate emerges, Babers is likely to land the role. Babers has compiled a 17-9 record with of Bowling Green.
