Report: LSU's Les Miles to hold 'special meeting' with team Monday
Marvin Gentry / USA TODAY Sports
Until someone says otherwise, Les Miles will walk around under a cloud of speculation about his future.
So far this week, Iowa State and Syracuse have announced plans to dismiss their respective head coaches in successive days, and many believe LSU is expected to do the same with Miles.
On Monday afternoon, Miles is expected to hold a "special meeting" with his players, sources told The Times-Picayune's James Smith.
The purpose of the meeting is unknown, but given the speculation that Miles might lose his job, the meeting may address the matter.
After starting the season 8-0 with a national championship in sight and an obvious Heisman Trophy candidate in the backfield, the Tigers have been blown out in their last three games.
