Off The Collar
Citadel fullback DaSean Daniels is in critical condition after collapsing during practice Tuesday.
The fullback underwent an emergency procedure to alleviate pressure to his skull and is said to be progressing well, while remaining in critical condition, according to Jeff Hartsell of The Post and Courier.
Bulldogs head coach Mike Houston remarked on the condition of the freshman.
"DaSean is an outstanding young man from a great family. The entire Citadel football community is praying for him and his family," he said. "He is an important part of The Citadel and our football family. We’ll support DaSean and his family during this difficult time."
