A grand jury has decided not to indict Kentucky defensive lineman Lloyd Tubman for rape, according to Steve Jones of The Courier-Journal.
Fayette County Commonwealth's Attorney Ray Larson announced the grand jury's decision on Wednesday night and also stated that Tubman will face no other charges.
Tubman, a freshman, plead not guilty in October to first-degree rape after he was accused by a female student.
The grand jury made the decision after three days of closed proceedings.
"They listened to all the evidence and based on what they heard and saw, for whatever reason they chose, they chose not to return the indictment," said Larson.
