Charles LeClaire-US PRESSWIRE
An entry in the Kansas State record book will be updated, but only the first name needs to be changed.
Wildcats wide receiver Tyler Lockett caught his 27th career touchdown pass Saturday, becoming the school's all-time leader. In doing so, Lockett broke the record held by his father, Kevin Lockett, who caught 26 touchdowns for Kansas State between 1993 and 1996.
Tyler's 27th touchdown was an 8-yard catch in the fourth quarter of the Wildcats' game against Baylor. The score closed the gap to 11, with Kansas State trailing 38-27, and gave Lockett 12 receptions for 136 yards on the night.
