College football players are considered real-life superheroes by their young fans.
A young Nebraska fan dressed up as "Captain Ameerica" on Thursday to pay homage to Ameer Abdullah, the Huskers senior running back and Heisman Trophy hopeful.
Abdullah has been commanding on the field, totaling 1,024 yards and 14 touchdowns this season.
Trey Fisher, the son of Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher, dressed up as his superhero, Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston.
