VIDEO: Kentucky's Matt Elam discusses losing 30 pounds this season

When you feel great, you play that way.

At least that's the case for Kentucky defensive tackle Matt Elam. Listed at a daunting 6-foot-7 and 375 pounds, the freshman is a nightmare for anyone who stands in his way on the gridiron. 

But now Elam is down to 360 pounds and counting, dropping weight at an impressive rate and getting more dangerous by the day. Elam says he weighed 390 when he arrived at Kentucky. As you can imagine, that's something worth smiling about.
