Michigan State's R.J. Williamson on loss to Oregon: 'It was hurtful. Sickening'
Looking to rebound after a tough game featured on national television, No. 13 Michigan State returned to practice for the first time since their loss to Oregon Thursday and spoke about the team's film session.
"It was hurtful. Sickening," safety R.J. Williamson told USA Today about watching the game . "As a ball club, we let one get away."
Senior safety and team captain Kurtis Drummond echoed Williamson's thoughts saying that the film session was "quiet."
"You look at the plays that you left out there, and you're mad at yourself. You're mad at other guys just because you want to hold them accountable and hold yourself accountable. That's the beauty of this team," he told USA Today. "Learn from the mistakes and just bring the team together. We had a great practice today, guys were flying around and having fun. You can see guys just want to get better."
