VIDEO: Stanford palm-tree mascot gets party makeover

The newest version of the Stanford tree mascot is bringing the party to the sidelines.
The Stanford party palm tree debuted at the USC-Stanford game hosted in Stanford Stadium Saturday, featuring multicolored leaves, bulging eyes and a large tongue. It's a change from the usual fir tree mascot.
The mascot received mixed reactions on Twitter:
That Stanford palm tree is the guy at your cookout who yells "lets go skinny dipping!" Jumps in the pool, and no one joins him.
