2nd-ranked OL Kennedy Brown commits to Texas A&M
Kennedy Brown, a five-star offensive lineman in the 2027 class, committed to Texas A&M on Sunday, he told On3's Hayes Fawcett.
Brown is the fifth-ranked recruit on the ESPN 300 and the second-highest-ranked offensive lineman. The Houston native chose the Aggies over Florida, LSU, and Tennessee.
The 6-foot-4, 285-pound lineman visited College Station multiple times during his recruitment. He's the third five-star recruit in the 2027 class to commit to Texas A&M, joining safety Kamarui Dorsey and defensive end Zyron Forstall.
"I've always talked about relationships, and obviously, you shouldn't go there for a coach, but I practically know everybody there," Brown said previously of Texas A&M and head coach Mike Elko, according to On3's Hunter Shelton.
He added, "I like the way they are there."
The Aggies are coming off an 11-2 season and an appearance in the College Football Playoff. They'll kick off the 2026 campaign against Missouri State on Sept. 5.
