Top-5 RB Kevin Riley picks Miami over Alabama, Georgia
Miami bolstered its offense Monday, landing the commitment from four-star running back Kevin Riley.
The Alabama native is the fourth-ranked running back of the 2024 class and the No. 61 overall recruit in the ESPN 300.
After a great talk with Coach Cristobal and the entire Hurricane Staff I would like to proudly announce my commitment to the University of Miami. @Hayesfawcett3 @canesfootball@coach_cristobal@dtrain2901@coachfield@coacht_HarrisJR@coachdawson_um@coachDub305@CoachDondo pic.twitter.com/8FmtcykedH

"Miami caught my attention from the people and the environment. All of the support they have for their players stood out as well," said Riley, who picked Miami over Alabama, Georgia, and USC, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder is the highest-ranked recruit in 2024 to join the Hurricanes so far. Miami also landed a pair of ESPN 300 prospects in wide receiver Chance Robinson and tight end Elija Lofton, who rank 209th and 261st in their class, respectively.
Miami head coach Mario Cristobal reacted to the news on Twitter on Monday.
