USC made a splash Sunday, landing a commitment from former Georgia defensive lineman Bear Alexander.
Alexander, who has three years of eligibility left, entered the portal April 15 after one season with the Bulldogs. The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder chose the Trojans over Miami, Texas, and Colorado, among other finalists.
He initially committed to Georgia as a four-star recruit and the No. 5-ranked defensive tackle of the 2022 class in the ESPN 300.
The Texas native was part of Georgia's top-ranked defense last year, finishing the campaign with nine tackles (three for loss), two sacks, and two pass breakups. He racked up two tackles and a sack in the national championship game against TCU, helping the Bulldogs win their second consecutive title.
Alexander is the fourth defensive lineman to transfer to USC this offseason.
