Georgia bolstered its defense Sunday, landing a commitment from four-star defensive end Samuel M'Pemba, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
"The development and the people up there," M'Pemba said of why he chose the Bulldogs. "They've developed guys from all over and different places, and the guys that they have there all have the mentality of wanting to dominate and win at the highest level."
M'Pemba is the ESPN 300's No. 29 overall recruit and second-ranked defensive end in the 2023 class.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder picked Georgia over finalists Tennessee, LSU, and Miami.
M'Pemba, a Florida native, is the fourth top-50 recruit to join the Bulldogs' 2023 class after safety Joenel Aguero, cornerback A.J. Harris, and linebacker Troy Bowles.
