Wide receiver Hykeem Williams announced his commitment to Florida State on Friday.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida, native picked the Seminoles from among six finalists that included Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, and Miami.

"It just fits me," Williams said, according to 247 Sports' Andrew Ivins. "The players there, they bond really well. They push each other, both on and off the field. The coaches, they love their players. WR coach (Ron) Dugans, he knows a lot about receivers and can get you to the league."

The promising pass-catcher also credited head coach Mike Norvell's "very uplifting" personality as a factor in his decision.

Williams is the No. 3 wideout in the class of 2023, according to the ESPN 300. He's ranked as the 22nd overall prospect in the class and the fourth-best prospect in Florida.

The Stranahan High School product is considered a five-star prospect by other recruiting services. Williams is the Seminoles' seventh ESPN 300 recruit this cycle.
