Mississippi State announced it agreed to a two-year contract extension with head coach Mike Leach, according to Stefan Krajisnik of the Clarion-Ledger.
The extension will raise Leach's annual salary to $5.5 million through the 2025 season, a source told ESPN's Alex Scarborough.
Leach, 61, is entering his third season with the Bulldogs, who finished third in the SEC West last year with a 7-6 record. He's 11-13 since inking a four-year contract worth around $5 million annually in 2020.
Before joining Mississippi State, he went 55-47 with Washington State from 2012-19 and 84-43 with Texas Tech from 2000-09.
