Bohanon received a limited amount of snaps under center in 2020, completing one pass for seven yards. He threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns in 2019, adding 272 rushing yards and three scores.
The Bears elevated Bohanon after former starter Charlie Brewer transferred to Utah this past offseason. Brewer tallied 1,958 yards and 14 touchdowns last campaign while completing 61% of his passes.
Baylor, which finished 2-7 last year, opens the season Sept. 4 against Texas State.
