Most people wouldn't have circled Saturday's MAC contest between Ball State and Western Michigan as must-see television, but the finish alone will make sure this one is remembered for a long time.
After the Cardinals kicked a late field goal to go up 30-27, the Broncos had one last chance to try and find the end zone on a play from the 49-yard line.
The scenes that unfolded won't be forgotten any time soon: The play featured too many laterals to count, the entire Ball State team prematurely ran on the field, and Western Michigan eventually found the end zone - only to have the score called off due to an illegal forward pass.
With the win, Ball State advances to the conference title game for the first time since 2008.
