Head coach Nick Saban will be on the sideline for No. 2 Alabama's contest against No. 3 Georgia after producing another negative COVID-19 test result Saturday, Alabama announced.

Saban initially tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, but that has now been deemed a false positive.

"Due to the fact that coach Saban has remained completely symptom-free and had five negative PCR tests, split between two separate labs, the initial test from Wednesday is considered a false positive under the SEC protocols," the school's statement read.

The SEC protocol states an asymptomatic individual needs three negative test results, with each being at least 24 hours apart, to return.

Saban's reinstatement will guarantee his iron man streak continues as the head coach has never missed a game since taking over the Alabama sideline.

The sideline boss will look to continue Alabama's hot start, with the Crimson Tide averaging 51 points per game this season.

Both Alabama and Georgia head into Saturday's matchup undefeated. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET.
