Utah has suspended defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley indefinitely as the school reviews a 2013 text message with racist language, Ben Kercheval of CBS Sports reports.
Scalley admitted he made a "terrible mistake" sending a message that was "offensive and hurtful to not only the African-American community, but to all."
The school has hired an outside firm to review the matter.
