Alabama already sports an embarrassment of riches at running back and replenished its position of strength Wednesday.
Trey Sanders, a four-star recruit from IMG Academy, committed to the Crimson Tide, according to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports. Sanders is the No. 2 running back in the class of 2019 and the No. 18 prospect overall.
"As a freshman, I do plan on winning the Heisman, nothing less. If I come short, I will be a finalist," Sanders said on ESPNU.
Sanders chose Alabama over Georgia, Texas, Florida, and Florida State. He'll compete in a loaded backfield that returns Najee Harris and Brian Robinson next fall.
