Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm met with Louisville athletic director Vince Tyra on Tuesday to discuss the Cardinals' coaching vacancy, sources told ESPN.
Brohm, a Louisville alum, is believed to be the Cardinals' top target to replace Bobby Petrino, who was fired Nov. 11. After Purdue wrapped up the regular season, Brohm insisted Saturday that he had no plans to leave the Boilermakers, saying Purdue "is where I want to be."
Brohm's compiled a 13-12 record across two seasons at Purdue, an impressive mark considering the Boilermakers won just nine games over the four seasons preceding his arrival.
