Purdue's Jeff Brohm is expected to be one of the most coveted head coaches in the country this offseason, but he indicated Saturday he plans to remain in West Lafayette.

"Yes and I'm looking forward to it," he responded when asked if he'll be a part of Purdue's future, according to Nathan Baird of the Journal and Courier.

Brohm's Boilermakers secured bowl eligibility for the second straight year with a 28-21 win over Indiana to wrap up the regular season. The 47-year-old is believed to be the top target of his alma mater, Louisville, which has a coaching vacancy.

"I want Louisville to do what's best for them," Brohm said, via ESPN's Adam Rittenberg. "I'm a fan. But right now, I'm the coach at Purdue. This is where I want to be and I like it here."

Brohm has earned widespread praise for revitalizing a Purdue program that was toiling at the bottom of the Big Ten when he took over two years ago. He spent three seasons at Western Kentucky before heading to Purdue ahead of the 2017 campaign.
