'Last Chance U' coach flooded with transfer, dating requests after show

Netflix/YouTube

Jason Brown, the Independence Community College football coach featured in Season 3 of the Netflix documentary series "Last Chance U," is a popular guy right now.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Brown revealed he's received hundreds of messages from recruits wanting to transfer to his team, and also from single women asking him on dates.

"We've had to turn down about 400 kids in the first weekend alone," Brown said. "I had about 5,000 emails in 24 hours."

When asked if he's met up with any of his prospective suitors yet, Brown replied, "Nah, nah, man, I'm in the middle of nowhere. I can't really respond like that. As much as I might want to, I gotta be smart. I don't know, s--t, I don't know if I can or not or what - I don't have nothin' to lose, I guess I'm just a single dude, I don't know. But I do have an overwhelming response on social media and on email, so it's been crazy."

Brown and Independence Community College will return for the fourth season of "Last Chance U" next summer.
