A top Florida recruit was released from jail Wednesday morning after being arrested for allegedly kicking a female's car and breaking her phone in an argument, according to Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times.
Four-star athlete Justin Watkins had a verbal argument with an unnamed woman in which he took her cellphone and threw it on the ground, according to a police affidavit.
Watkins followed the woman into the student parking lot of a high school, where he proceeded to kick her car and attempted to deflate the tires. The actions were confirmed by footage from the school's security cameras.
He was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a misdemeanor complaint of trespassing on school grounds and was later released after posting a $500 bond.
