Did the referees make a mistake on Georgia's blocked punt?
Butch Dill / USA TODAY Sports
What would a national championship game be without a little officiating drama?
Georgia looked to be in prime position to add to its lead over Alabama on Monday following a blocked punt, but the momentum was squashed when the Bulldogs were ruled offside on the play.
Georgia failed to capitalize on its next drive before Alabama, led by true freshman quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, marched downfield and cut the Bulldogs' lead to 13-7 with a 6-yard pass to Henry Ruggs III.
