Alabama's runner-up trophy from last season is no more.
A video shared by wide receiver Jerry Jeudy on Thursday shows strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran throwing the trophy on the ground and smashing it to smithereens with a hammer.
The Crimson Tide lost 35-31 to Clemson in the 2017 national championship game. After claiming revenge over the Tigers on New Year's Day, they square off against Georgia next Monday night in this season's title game.
