One of Alabama's star performers in the Sugar Bowl win over Clemson will miss the national championship game, as Anfernee Jennings announced Wednesday that he's out after surgery on his injured knee.
Jennings was a force against Clemson's offense all night, registering five total tackles, three for a loss, and a sack in the Crimson Tide's dominant performance.
The sophomore has been a steady performer for Nick Saban's outfit down the stretch, registering five or more tackles in three of the last four games.
