Georgia fans may not believe in the philosophy of letting sleeping dogs lie.
A group of Bulldogs supporters couldn't resist poking the bear that is Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield on Sunday night, as the Heisman Trophy candidate gave kudos to an unknown party that posted his cell phone number online, leading to a barrage of messages from the Georgia faithful.
Mayfield has proven time and time again that he turns adversity into motivation, so the idea to blow up his cell phone before the two teams meet in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day may not have been the smartest course of action for Georgia fans.
Bold strategy, though. Now, let's see if it pays off.
