Orgeron: I spent Ole Miss tenure dreaming of LSU
Derick E. Hingle / USA TODAY Sports
Ed Orgeron appeared to be fully committed to Ole Miss during his days in Oxford, but the LSU coach revealed Monday he was always secretly thinking about someone else.
Orgeron led the Rebels from 2005-07, posting a 10-25 record over his three campaigns. Ole Miss gave the Lousiana native his first career head coaching gig.
The 56-year-old now has his dream job, and has steered LSU to a 5-2 record as the Tigers get set to face his former program on Saturday.
