Harbaugh: Violent protesters are 'embarrassments to our country'
Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports
The events that occurred in Charlottesville, Va., this past weekend sent shockwaves through the United States, and one man who simply won't stand for the violence and hatred is Jim Harbaugh.
Harbaugh wasn't shy about voicing his opinions about those who violently protested the removal of a statue of confederate general Robert E. Lee, calling them "embarrassments to our country."
One person was killed and 19 others were injured when a car was driven into a group of counter-protesters. A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, according to NBC News.
