Brown, who didn't graduate from Texas Tech, must sit out the 2017 campaign to satisfy NCAA rules before he can suit up for the first of two seasons with the Buffaloes.
Brown amassed 27 receptions for 378 yards and a touchdown in his two seasons with the Red Raiders. He announced his intention to transfer from Texas Tech on May 12.
