LSU star Arden Key says he won't sit out junior season

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Arden Key continues to drop hints that he's ready to return to football after the LSU star took an indefinite leave of absence in February for personal reasons.

The 6-foot-6, 255-pounder, who tweeted earlier in April that he was ready to go, took to social media again Wednesday to inform people that he won't sit out his junior season.

Key finished second in the SEC last year with 12 sacks while also turning in an impressive 14.5 tackles for loss. He's considered a lock for the top 10 in the 2018 NFL Draft, and could be the first off the board with a strong junior campaign.

LSU opens the season Sept. 2 against BYU.
