Suspended Oklahoma DB Parrish Cobb arrested for armed robbery
Suspended Oklahoma defensive back Parrish Cobb is in trouble again, as Norman Police arrested the 19-year-old in connection with an armed robbery on Wednesday night.
According to a report from the Norman Police, Cobb was booked on complaints of robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
The former four-star recruit is alleged to have entered an apartment and stolen cash and drugs from a pair of men while pointing a semi-automatic handgun at them.
Cobb was suspended from the University in late January following an arrest on three separate warrants for his alleged role in multiple aggravated robberies. He saw action in four games last season for the Sooners as a true freshman.
His arrest is the latest in a number of off-the-field incidents involving Oklahoma players this offseason, most notably quarterback Baker Mayfield's arrest for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
Head coach Bob Stoops confirmed to Brooke Pryor of The Oklahoman that Cobb hasn't been on the team since January and was unaware he was still in Norman.
