The eyes of the college football world will be on the Rose Bowl on Sept. 3, as the opening weekend contest between Texas A&M and UCLA has been moved from Saturday to Sunday evening.
The game is a rematch from last year's opening weekend game in College Station, when the Aggies emerged with a dramatic 31-24 overtime victory.
Texas and Notre Dame played in the lone Sunday game in last year's opening weekend, receiving a whopping 11.1 million viewers on ABC and ESPN for the 50-47 double-overtime thriller.
Labor Day weekend is the first full slate of games, with a number of non-conference Power 5 matchups highlighting the schedule, including Alabama-Florida State, Florida-Michigan, West Virginia-Virginia Tech, and South Carolina-NC State.
