Police: Syracuse's Nelson, Clarke arrested for stealing 'Yeezy' boots
Two Syracuse redshirt freshmen have been charged with burglary, grand larceny, and possession of stolen property, according Stephen Bailey of Syracuse.com, citing a spokesman for the Syracuse Police Department.
Sgt. Richard Helterline confirmed that Jaquwan Nelson and Devon Clarke were arrested in connection with the theft of a laptop, a PlayStation 4, and two pairs of "Yeezy" boots. The incident was first reported on Dec. 26.
Nelson was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny, while Clarke was charged on Friday with second-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Clarke, a former three-star defensive back, played in just one game for the Orange last season, registering two tackles against Virginia Tech on Oct. 15. Nelson, a former three-star defensive lineman, did not see action for Syracuse last season.
